About us

We have been collecting used cooking oils since 2007.

By using the oil to fuel our vehicles, we reduce the amount of fossil fuels consumed and help protect the environment.

As much as possible, we use the oil in its natural liquid state. It is environmentally efficient and needs only limited use of additional chemicals and energy. Fats filtered out of used oil is converted to Biodiesel to avoid further waste.

This is a family run enterprise and we do not operate for profit or sell fuel to the public.

“The use of plant oil as fuel may seem insignificant today. But such products can in time become just as important as kerosene and these coal-tar-products of today.”

Rudolf Diesel (1858-1913), inventor

About Oil

Early diesel engines were designed to run on liquid vegetable oils and the UK government allows individuals to use limited quantities as vehicle fuel.

Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO), used Cooking Oil (UCO) and New Cooking Oil (SVO) can all be burnt in diesel powered vehicles.

It is a cleaner fuel than mineral diesel and almost carbon neutral; it needs minimal processing and low technology conversion.
